@heymrsbond Sending love to all educators who feel defeated and spent right now. This has been the longest and most challenging year of many of our careers.
@lethajhenry Right back at you. You make Twitter a friendlier and kinder space. So glad to have connected with you. :)
@dragonsue @wheeler_laura Sending you a hug as you pull yourself to the finish line. Hopefully you can find a low-stress way to end off the year and give the kids some closure. I’ve seen some great suggestions of easy-to-do stuff like bring your fave snack and drink, show and share a fave toy,/pet, etc.
Sending love to you if this weekend is one of pain instead of celebration. Those who have lost a child. Those battling infertility and loss. Those who have had an adoption fall through. Those who have lost a mother. Those who were abandoned or unloved by their mother. I see you.
@canucknik @DFisman Hang in there! It helps me to temporarily tune out the internet and other news sources when anxiety is high. It’s okay to walk away from our phones/devices and just focus on the real life unfolding in front of us (not on a screen). :) Hope your headache settles soon! :)
@jenvasic Sending you a hug. Thank you for doing the work that you do. No job should involve harassment or threats of violence. You deserve to be safe.
@Misscatsclass I’ve done this. It is heart-wrenching and I am so sorry that you have to go through this on top of dealing with your feelings of grief... and in the middle of a pandemic. Sending you love and strength.
This sentiment has always informed my work with young children. #Parenting #Teaching
