There is this Asian Animator who goes unnamed in the story and I wonder if he is supposed Iwao Takamoto, he was a major part of HB and did the designs for Scooby doo and other important roles. It's too bad he goes unnamed in this.

Okay I'm NOT a super expert on Archie Heroes, mostly because oh my god getting reprints or findings issues is a bitch, but the Shield had a sidekick NAMED DUSTY THE BOY DETECTIVE? Like he can't be be say...armor...or chain mail....just saying....side arm....

Stories like these it's sometimes hard to tell what impact a person had, well Gene had enough of one that several people and other places denied to protect him. What's sad about this story is that one some level the man didn't need to do this, he found people who liked his work.

Now this is one of those stories like I said I had to suss out Albert was not a rich man and once he died in 2017 that lie could not sustain itself unless he was like PRETEND TO BE MY GF FROM BEYOND THE GRAVE so every one of those accounts stopped posting.
