Watched some Satoshi Kon movies and wanted to try a style that focuses more on realistic shading and 3D shapes and less on slapping Jojo lines everywhere, especially that SBR era of Araki's art also leaned more into that

FF encounter with Pucci up to his fight with Jolyne was my favourite part of this cour (besides Ep 15). It was really hype from both story and visual standpoint. Shoutouts to whoever was drawing robes on Pucci in that arc becouse they did such a great job

And since his cuts are left untouched the drawings look wonky, like features of the face melting off.

The actual beatdowns were super good, so I do get why they let him handle these scenes

Jojo character in normal clothes is so interesting to see

They also made Scary Monsters look like an actual Jurassic Park raptor than whatever Araki drew lmao
