X-Force (2019) #13
The Champions of Krakoa and Arakko meet in Hell. Writer Benjamin Percy, Artist Viktor Bogdanovic, Colorist Matthew Wilson: Just enough backstory to understand the motives of Wolverine and Solem, while propelling the X of Swords plot forward. 4/5
On this week’s trip to @NEcomics Brockton for 2 weeks, I paid $15.96 for: 2 Image, 1 Ablaze and 1 Boom! That’s an average of $3.99 an issue, or $7.98 a week. That’s a pretty small haul, even for me.

@GoldenRageofTV1 Thanks, Pat, for all the info on the amazing voice cast on the original Space Ghost (1966) cartoon! Too many people are now only familiar with Space Ghost Coast to Coast (1994), which I also enjoyed, but does detract some from the exciting, sci-fi fun of the classic cartoon.
Saturday Morn’ cartoons my wife & I watched MeTV’s Bugs Bunny and Friends!
Rabbit of Seville (1950)
A Bone for a Bone (1951)
Back Alley Oproar (1948)
The Case of the Stuttering Pig (1937)
Chaser on the Rocks (1965)
Bugsy and Mugsy (1957)

Avengers (2018) #36
Moon Knight is tricked into fighting the Black Panther. Writer Jason Aaron, Artist Javier Garron, Colorist Jason Keith: I love Javier Garron’s clear, clean line work and his his exciting fight choreography, but the characters motivations remain fuzzy. 3/5
Fantastic Four (2018) #24
Johnny Storm remembers when Iceman replaced the Human Torch as a member of the Fantastic Four. Writer Dan Slott, Artist Paco Medina, Colorist Jesus Aburtov: Slott’s love letter to Stan & Jack’s FF and Strange Tales is a pleasant, joyous diversion. 4.5/5
X of Swords: Creation (2020) #1
Crossing the External Gate opens the Mutants to Otherworldly tribulations. Writers Jonathan Hickman & Tini Howard, Artist Pepe Larraz, Colorist Marte Gracia: Even at 64 pages, this opening act of X of Swords is still fairly taut and engrossing. 4/5
Avengers (Feb.1967) #37
The Avengers must escape alien confinement in "To Conquer a Colossus!" Script Roy Thomas, Penciler-Inker Don Heck: Some nice teamwork, but otherwise a pretty standard “conquering aliens” plot, with some of the loosest looking Heck art I’ve seen. 3/5
