@LordEmmerich The name "Punished" was probably shared among the production staff, and you can see the letters Pスネーク and パニッシュドスネーク in The Art of METAL GEAR SOLID V's D-Horse.
However, if you look at the notations such as D-WOLF (D-DOG), it may have really been an early name.
@LordEmmerich In Hitori Nojima's novel, Nuke is a white cat, but in the picture you get from Wandering Mother Base Soldiers in MGSV:TPP, Nuke is a black cat.
This is a strange phenomenon despite the fact that Out of Order is shared.
@BadHumans Decoy Octopus' nationality is very rarely stated publicly as being Mexican; it is not listed on the official MGS1 website, in the MGS1 art book, or in the MGS4 database.
Probably in Japan, only the MGS1 strategy book and AC!D2 explain it.
@BadHumans Interestingly enough, according to Shinkawa's comments in the MGS4 art book, Jonathan's name was originally "Chin". And in Famitsu PS3 Vol.12, Shinkawa mentions that it was also the name of a character in Snatcher, and it turns out that it was Chin Syuuhou(陳 周鳳).
