The Super anime and manga both depict Future Trunks’ battle against Babidi and Dabura to successfully prevent Buu’s resurrection, though the manga offers a far more detailed account. The manga version was later adapted into DLC for the game DBZ: Kakarot.
Dating-wise, GT episodes 54 to 64 all take place on the same day (before the final jump to 100 years later), with Goku and co fighting continuously against the 4, 3, and 1-Star Dragons.
Much to her own embarrassment, Leia was born from the Minus Energy of the very first wish in the series, Oolong asking for panties (back in 749, 41 years ago), while Mole Man was born from the wish to revive Majin Vegeta’s victims (in 774, 16 years ago)
@Killafoe1 Hmmm…I checked, but it looks like they say the opposite: hell and earth linking was somehow caused by the dragon balls
However, Earth is still suffering the effects of being linked with hell. In order to fix these and revive all those killed, Goku, Pan, Trunks, and the newly-repaired Gill search out the dragon balls, just like old times! Except something seems off about the balls these days…
This line is parodied in fan art often enough to even warrant its very own Pixiv page. https://t.co/w4tGFVZ0eo今のはメラゾーマではない、メラだ
You might recognize Buu’s disguise as the face of superstar Barry Kahn, who Buu first impersonated back in his namesake arc in order to get a kiss. In the Super anime, Barry played Great Saiyaman in the movies, got possessed by an alien (like Baby, a bit), and fought Gohan.
After Goku and co return to Earth, Mister Satan notes how things started getting strange two months ago. Presumably this refers to Baby’s arrival, and since that was said to be 9 months after Goku and co began their journey, this puts their total travel time at 11 months.
Baby seems to infect Goten, Gohan, and Vegeta all within a single day (and night). But oddly, these scenes are cross-cut with Goku and co obtaining the final three dragon balls on three separate planets, which presumably wasn’t all in one day.
