Of course, since these are alternate timelines, Uub doesn’t have to worry much about 17 and 18. But this does explain why Trunks at the 28th TB finally looks about as old as Future Trunks (just don’t ask why kid Trunks in Super doesn’t look like Future Trunks training with Gohan)

Speaking of blood: the anime was detail-oriented enough to make sure Kill Vearn’s blood was magma-colored back when Baran slices him in two. In the manga it looks indistinguishable from ordinary blood (in fact, there’s barely any blood there).

The tournament youth division is long gone, so Pan can compete against the adults. 12 contestants are selected from the preliminaries, meaning four are seeded through luck of the draw (Vegeta and Trunks get this honor). Mister Satan is now exempt from all but the final match.

But in the revised ending Toriyama created for the Kanzenban, Goku gives Uub his very own pet cloud (because I guess Goten’s done using it). He tells Uub how to control it with his mind, and they fly off while the narrator talks about how amazing Goku and his pals are.

Bra’s age on the other hand isn’t specified in the original manga, which leads to internal confusion in Daizenshuu 7 as to whether she’s a year older or younger than Pan. Ultimately Super sealed the deal for her being the younger of the two.

Bulma’s been thinking of using the dragon balls to wish to be younger for years now (ever since the day they first met Broly), but I guess she never quite got around to it.

At Chapa’s suggestion (?!), Uub goes to enter the tournament so he can use the prize money to buy food for everyone back home (wait, are we sure his mentor is Chapa and not Namu?). Goku can sense he’s already at the tournament grounds the day before the main event.

Goku first learned of Uub’s existence from judge of the dead Enma Daio (the one responsible for Buu’s reincarnation), and/or Dende later pointed him out to Goku, so he knows what the kid looks like. Uub was too young to enter the U6 tournament or ToP, but he did help beat Moro.
