After Jaco sets the two month time limit, Goku and Merus continue training in their off brand time chamber, while Vegeta keeps plugging away on Yardrat (dealing with some Moro goons in the process). Nearly two months later, Merus prepares to spar with Goku one last time, but…

Tomorrow: Goku grows up!

Sometime later, Moro’s convict henchmen scout out Earth. Piccolo easily captures the first group, but a second group arrives immediately afterward. Thanks to android 7-3’s troublesome ability-copying skills, this second group gets the better of Piccolo, Gohan, and co.

Goku spars with Merus, and decides he’d make the perfect training partner to help get the hang of Ultra Instinct. Vegeta arrives on Yardrat and begins learning Spirit Control from Pybara, who taught Goku before him. Several days later, Goku and Merus finally leave to train.

Regardless, let’s just stick with it being about a week into the arc when Goku and Vegeta battle Moro a second time. They screw up and lose. Even Buu is no help, since all his god power went to Uub in the divorce. Escaping Namek, Vegeta sets sail for Yardrat. ETA: another week.

Shortly before Goku and Vegeta awaken, back on Earth Bulma is upset she hasn’t heard from them for a week. How this fits with Muri’s statement that they slept three days is unclear. Was their first fight with Moro four days after leaving Earth, or are New Namek days super long?

As newly-appointed (temporary) Galactic Patrolmen, Goku and Vegeta teleport to New Namek and confront Moro. They screw up and lose. They awaken three (New Namekian) days later, and learn that Moro has by now obtained three dragon balls (so, averaging one per day then)

Surprisingly, the scene where Gome-chan is discovered hiding inside Maam’s clothes is animated pretty much as-is (save for Maam’s black leggings, of course). When Gome did this before back in ep.12, the anime carefully avoided showing anything suggestive.

Yeah, it’s glossed over in Viz, but the implication is that the bar for who’s too evil to revive is relatively high, so post-Buu Earth shouldn’t be a total utopia (this issue also came up in Ye Olden Days regarding Pilaf and co in GT)
