Not only does this guide predate the Buu arc entirely, it also came out before the end of the Cell Games had been animated. So instead of screenshots of SS2 Gohan, they have an original illustration...plus a screenshot they apparently hope we won’t notice is before he goes SS2
Back in July, @Terez27 and I scanslated the Super Saiyan guide from the Trunks TV special animanga. Yes, hot off the press in 1993, this tells you all there is to know about Super Saiyans as of the Cell Games. Here are the first two pages (of six), plus the book’s cover...
Still wasting time on Pixiv Encyclopedia, which has a rather extensive page on Pokémon urban legends. I’m sure it’s old news to you all, but they say Gengar is a Clefable possessed by a Haunter. Spooky~ https://t.co/w4tGFVZ0eoポケモンシリーズの都市伝説一覧
Anyway, I’d recommend checking it out if you can. Don’t know what the odds are for an official English release, but the internet being what it is I assume someone must have scanslated it by now. Or you could just wait for the anime.
MOST SURPRISING: Let the Right One In (2008): I thought this was a haunted house movie or something. It’s not.
WILL REVISIT: Millennium Actress (2001): I’ll probably enjoy this a lot more the second time around, now that I’m not expecting a straightforward history.
1960s
FAVORITE A: Havoc in Heaven (1961): hard to imagine a better animated version of Journey to the West than this, even if it doesn’t have the Buddha confrontation.
FAVORITE B: 2001: A Space Odyssey (1968): one of those movies that’s better each time I see it.
