I have a TON of games, but one of the more interesting ones uses my favorite NES game, Super Mario Bros. 2
The Beatles: Adventures in Pepperland features chiptunes versions of their songs. It's basically Mario 2 with new levels, but it works really well and is VERY clever..
MAKE UP YOUR MIND!
Okay, so my knee surgery will be Monday now.
I have no clue why it's jumping around.
Good news: my friends at @WayForward are contributing to my boredom fighting in the hospital while I recover. They just sent me Dawn of the Monsters for Monday when I wake.
What a horrible year for Pinball.
The legendary Barry Oursler has passed away. You might not know the name, but even non-diehard pinball players know his work. Gorgar. Doctor Who. Comet/Cyclone/Hurricane. Pin*Bot. Fire. Bram Stoker's Dracula. Police Force. Space Shuttle.
RIP 😢

WE GOT THE CRON! CATCH THE FEVER! AND COUGH AND SORE THROAT!
The Art of Cuphead and the Cuphead Wiki seem to be at odds.
The book says the bottle is the rum and the glass is the whiskey, but the Wiki says the glass is the rum and the bottle is the whiskey.
I was basically addicted to every substance on the planet EXCEPT alcohol. Help me!
Inspired by From Below, I pose this question to my fans and #gaming fans everywhere..
What is the best example of a game that takes an established, popular foundation or formula and adds A SINGLE element to that formula that completely freshens up the entire game and experience?
@JimBevan85 I've eaten deep-fried, seasoned beetle larva.
It was really good. Tasted a lot like tater-tots. I also invested in bug-based flatbread flour that was mostly grasshoppers.
We all love bee vomit. We love candies the shine. That is ooze secreted from this lovely critter here:
One last one:
1: Not a Japanese game character.
2: Important to Nintendo's history.
3: Fits the criteria of being interesting enough that EVERYONE should watch the announcement.
Well, Nintendo does want to finish strong, and I can think of someone who's strong to the finish..
I checked the NES version just for shits and giggles. Um, yea, that plays better. Among other things, accidentally tagging yourself with some bomb blast isn't an instakill. They still have short fuses, but not so short you have no time to dodge. What a truly terrible port for MSX
Bomb Jack!
Actually it's a 2004 homebrew of the Sega SG-1000 arcade port that scored an easy YES! during #IGCvSG1000
And that's what it is. Plays pretty much identical.. maybe even very slightly better. It ain't much to look at, but it's fun. YES! Pile!
