I'm feeling peckish..

presents Indiana Jones and the Temple of Doom
Released August, 1985
Developed & Published by Atari Games
Directed by Peter Lipson

I played the NES port of this, the arcade game for the worst Indiana Jones movie (fight me bro). I hated it.

Does have that vibe ;)

It's the modern "Disney Smirk"

Goddamnit, I got choked up by a Google Doodle.

Keith Courage has to be the worst pack-in title ever.

With all the cameos Sweetie has lined up, I figure I should post the guidelines for her appearance to assure she doesn't get confused for Ms. Pac-Man.

1: Sweetie has "sinister" black eyes with bright-red pupils.
2: She has fangs.
3: Her bow is purple/pink and behind her head.

The book is "Personal Memoirs of U. S. Grant" and it's on Amazon and elsewhere. It's absolutely incredible. The man truly had a gift for writing.

And for art! These are real paintings by Ulysses S. Grant. He has to be the most talented artist among world leaders in history.

There's a whole ton of Nintendo DS games that absolutely 100% NEED to come to Switch. I'll nominate four.

Trace Memory (it got a sequel in Europe? Oh kiss my ass)
Hotel Dusk: Room 215 (Also quietly got a sequel)
Super Princess Peach (easy but so fun)
Metroid Prime Pinball (duh)

I finally won a race!!

I think fans of Super Sprint would like this a lot more than I did. I'm not a fan at all of Super Sprint, so this is one of those perfectly fine games that I'm likely going NO! on because I don't like this type of game and can't have fun with it.

Awesome sprite work in general. The world of Papuwa-kun feels both alive and like a hallucination.

But it plays pretty well.

Shame that Daft Co., Ltd. didn't go on to do more. They were tapped by Jaleco to do their games based on K1, the MMA organization, then a PS2 game.
