Thanks ! And hey, now I can say the co-designer of the upcoming Queen pinball did a logo for me! SWEET!

Sweetie is a Familiar. That's her species. Luciomous Maluous is the scientific name. She's corporeal when she's angry, non-corporeal when she's happy, lives on a diet of bad game design, sleeps on my hand, and hates being mistaken for Ms. Pac-Man. She makes me do bad things. 😶

Folks, I regret to announce that Sweetie is angry.

My apologies for the land masses that will vanish today.

(Awesome new model by , yep, that's going to be a hard one to top! That's how I always see her. When she tells me to burn things)

And that's Kung Fu, a game that is so much more important to gaming history than people realize. It's a great way to celebrate Miyamoto's 70th birthday.

And DID YOU KNOW there was a sequel on the Famicom? Spartan-X 2. And it's awesome! Maybe not as much OOMPH but fun gameplay.

I think Miyamoto deserves historic credit for one of the best arcade ports. I think the degree of difficulty was higher than people realize. Despite the simple premise, many tried and failed to either port Kung Fu Master or recreate the magic, including creator Takashi Nishiyama!

It's hard for history to look back fondly on a game when you only use that game for cursory winks and nods.

Devil World features intense near-misses, some of the smartest (and, frankly, restrained) enemy design of the genre. It's NEVER unfair. You always have a means to escape.

People, Atari 50 is already IGC-Approved.

This was like one of those "as soon as the polls are closed, the networks can call a winner" situations. Before I even got to the first game in the set, the extras alone put over-the-top. The 100+ games are the end zone dance!

Coincidentally, developer does need a hand finishing-up their NES game, but they lost some of their staff.

Maybe some of the development community could pitch-in and help them finish it. It's not far from completed, and having played the prototype, it's good.

You would be amazed what some developers can do. This is Sarukani Panic, which I was lucky to be the very first person ever to get to play it. did it, and there's NO CHEATING here. All of this is being done with NES hardware, and the dev just used clever coloring.

I suspect there was supposed to be another boss. Cutting Room Floor (seriously, can't stress enough, every single person who covers retro games needs to have this site bookmarked) doesn't mention it, but the stage just ends with a very uneventful section. https://t.co/lIiiOTbBcz
