Well, I promised no clouds for this one, and I adhered to said promise.

There's trees instead. Trees, the clouds of the ground. Learned this method years ago, it's gritty but it does the job.

A Sin Eater was a ritualistic figure in Europe from the 1600's to the 1800's.

Outcasts of their own village, their purpose was to appear at funerals, recite a prayer and eat a meal off of the body of the deceased, thus taking the sins upon themselves.

Shading this one was a lot of fun. Like for real, serious, I'd-pay-for-it fun.

Those arms came out alright, with the backlight and all.

Colours were interesting to do for this one. In the end, despite how desaturated it is, it turned out fairly colourful (I think!).

In the end I had to use a soft layer to add some warmth to the image, and desaturate the greens a bit.

Ah well, done is done! I'll be putting the finished pic soon.

A while ago @VaatiVidya put together a contest to design bosses/enemies for the upcoming FromSoft game "The Elden Ring".

I started up mine, but didn't manage to finish it.

Sinbad the Sailor is a fictional character, hero of The tales of Sinbad, which are part of the One Thousand and One Nights collection of stories, around the 14th century.

The stories of Sinbad seem heavily influenced by the epics written by Greek author Homer.
