Marvel's Star Wars Issue 95 was great. Duffy's narrative cuts between a quirky Han/Leia tale and Luke vs the new villain Lumiya.

Martin's art doesn't try for any kind of likeness, goes for dynamic comic book stylism. Look at that Cape! And that epic laser whip!

So the art for X Of Swords looks good but man I really wish it wasn't a 15 part crossover..

The second arc of the Kyle & Yost X-Force run might be even better. We get some insight into what's going on in the character's heads, and it's particularly fascinating regarding Angel/Archangel.

And then there's Mike Choi's spectacular art too. The stuff in Tokyo was 😍😍

Williamson also does a great job with iconic space scenes and has a cool take on Luke's hand getting damaged.

Read the Return Of The Jedi adaptation by Marvel last night.

Al Williamson isn't as good here as he was on the Empire one but there's still stuff to love.

His Dagobah is appropriately moody & atmospheric. Love the shadows on Yoda & the Alec Guinness likeness is SPOT ON.

The Jo Duffy written issues of the original Star Wars series are fun so far.

Enjoyable adventures and she really nails the dialogue/interactions between the characters. Issues 71-72 do a good job with the Luke/Lando dynamic.
