Old elves sometimes carry out suicide attacks to Kavaniivaediir to defy the yuan-ti.
Recently, poison gas-breathing creatures resembling undead "limned w/ cold green flames" (GREEN FLAME) have been ranging south from the ruins. One elf claims to have seen his cousin among them.
The elves are nomadic by nature (this is a pattern in the lands near Manifest), & consider agriculture unnatural.
