@pcktknife This is just the natural state of being for most millennials.
@tz_toast_rider With Rufus, the joke is "he's fat and gross", which I don't really like. I think Bob is the better version of Rufus. Sammo Hung proved you can have a round body type and be athletic/acrobatic. I think that's a cool visual, but the Rufus design is just too mean-spirited about it.
Even characters that have been Flanderized into comic relief look fresh & serious here again. Tonally, I think this is all very much needed.
Usually if you see an older woman in a fighting game, it's a gag character where the joke is that they're old and ugly(see left). I myself am getting old, so let me play as a beautiful older woman, please.
@DoctorPizzaMD Drove me nuts how little imagination or nuance there was to anything in SF4. Everything was just bland and flat with a bunch of noise stacked on top. Compare this street stage from SF4 to stages from the earlier games.
Man, I'm just glad Street Fighter is back to being stylish. SF4 (second pic) was such a massive downgrade from SF3 (first pic), and it feels like we're finally back on track.

My brothers in christ, you invented chibi art because it's cute asf
