that time Power Man & Iron Fist fought the Daleks- sorry, "Dredlox" - is freakin wild.
Surprised Dan Slott hasn't brought these guys back yet.
Read a Power Man & Iron Fist two-parter with the The Living Monolith... so I immediately had to go re-read this Richard Case Sensational Spider-Man classic -
The backup stories are pretty good though. I like this Johnny Storm/Dorrie Evans one.
Dorrie calling Johnny out on how being a rock star is stupid of him, and "Cauliflower steaks" and "we'll use your place" and "I have no money" are all gems.
A great ending to the last issue of Fantastic Four for what ended up being several years. The flare is classic and should be reserved for special moments at this point.
I get why they did backup stories to make the issue bigger, more special, but they kind of lessen this ending.
If the implication here is that the Quiet Man has been Willie Lumpkin all along, or at any other point, I hate it. If it's a one-time thing, okay.
Part of me doubts he'll ever resurface, but you never know what a writer will do.
I love the rubbery punch. The coiled up stretched arm. It's completely unnecessary and totally awesome.
