Are you even kidding us with this adorable series?! Good Dog, written by Cam Higgins & illustrated by @ariellandyart, is a series perfect for 2nd & 3rd graders who love puppy adventures as much as we do! As always, @AndersonsBkshp had this new series there waiting for us! 📘🐾
Come for The Sea in Winter's cozy cover & stay for @ByChristineDay's story that explores loss in a way we don't often focus on. Many readers will relate to Maisie's plight of broken dreams, but they'll connect as they're reminded of the resilience we all have within us, too.
Last week we came to you looking for suggestions for an #SEL booklist we’d be presenting. After mixing your ideas with ours, we've compiled LOTS of picture book titles that support #SocialEmotionalLearning! See the thread for the list, & thank you for your ideas! #bettertogether
Into the Tall, Tall Grass by @LorielRyon is a story of a journey, and family, and love. And after we finished reading it, we immediately called our sisters. 💛
“One of the greatest gifts in life is having a sister... take care of each other.”
Sadie Sprocket Builds a Rocket by @SueFliess will be perfect for space-themed fun at school this spring! The colors & designs of @annabeltempest’s illustrations add to this adventurous story as Sadie and her stuffed animal crew blast off into space! 🚀📘 Releases 02.01.21!
We just read George Takei’s They Called Us Enemy, & as soon as we closed this breathtaking graphic novel about his experience in Japanese internment camps during WWII we headed over to watch his powerful @TEDTalks.
Absolutely stunning. @JustinEisinger @Scott_Duvall @harmimimi
We love so many of the @TODAYshow’s choices as their top 25 books for kids, teens, & tweens in 2020, but we noticed one we hadn’t read.
So glad this list led us to meet The Bear and the Moon by @MatthewBurgessJ & @catiachien.
