It's a smart game to make. The adventure game engine I'd be constructing would serve as the backbone to the RPG engine I want. Fans of the original Candy Raid would probably like it, and fans of it might like the original Candy Raid. I'd build momentum for and from past projects.
I don't deeply care about Candy Raid II, glycemic boogaloo. I came up with it yesterday as a stepping stone to the RPGs I *do* care about.

Um. Let's see. My best ones are Jump the Shark. Merlin the Dark Magician Bunny. Merlin comes with an ensemble that I think are pretty cool. And let us not forget John Michael Jones and the monsters of Theria.
@DJSchreffler Justine Bailey, codename Angel, is arguably A pirate princess. After the people of Space Texas overthrew their rulers with the cry "No King but Jesus!", the dethroned princess wrote herself letters of marque, and so SHE maintains she is a privateer, but obviously accounts differ.
