Now, I am under the impression that, by monkeying around with shaders in Unity, I can palettify this character, as well as add glowy bits and lighting. But this remains untested, and will likely remain so until at least tomorrow, probably later.

This design is cool and all, but it's not going to work. So I need to stop here and decide how I'm going to rejigger it.
