At ~18 years Catra thought Adora had rejected her for new best friends, Glimmer and Bow.
Maybe Catra has always felt like she was easily replaceable & uncertain about her place in Adora's heart.

Catra could not handle her jealousy because Adora had a new friend, and was so bewildered she lashed out and almost scratched poor Adora's eye. Already at 6 years old Catra had such strong feelings she did not know what to do with them.

This scene just stabs me every time. 💔 Catra is so deeply hurt and devastated by Adora sacrificing herself once again.
