@DanielSQuinlan @TheGXBlack Because AT Goku was depicted with a tan at the time and in AT concept art, Bulma has her purple hair from the manga. In Daizenshuu #1 it's consistent post-1987 for Goku to have a tan with SSJ lightening him. The covers depict Goku with a tan. Recent AT art keeps the tan as well.

@notthemarsh @mike_daws0n Charmy, along with Amy are from the Sonic manga published by Shogakukan in 1992 and ran until 1994. They both originated there in 1992.
