Fun fact: Ep. 14 isn’t a one-off for Cuaran, the Zeon fly boy. He appears—and stars—in Mobile Suit #Gundam U.C. Hardgraph: IRON MUSTANG, a serialized manga that ran in Gundam Ace from 2011-2012. It was penned by Masato Natsumoto and has yet to receive an official English release.
Fun fact: Mobile Suit Gundam (1979-80) influenced an untold number of creatives, including the artists at #CLAMP. In fact, Mokona is such a big fan of #Gundam—and by extension, Yoshikazu Yasuhiko—that she was asked to draw Amuro in her own style. Look familiar?
Fun fact: During the “#Gundam boom," Bandai released Journey to Jaburo (2000) for the PS2, a third-person action game that covers (roughly) the first half of MSG. Featuring 40+ minutes of new animation and the show's voice cast, it was a gateway to the franchise for many fans.
