Because Prince Edward station became a focal point of HKers' grief, there began a passive aggressive war of flowers (?) between the people and the govt. The police would tear down flowers, art etc. dedicated to the dead...

The scene inspired a lot of art. There’s something about the utter helplessness of the people that resonates. None of us ever imagined the act of going about our normal lives would be met with state violence...

A lot of the art promoting the event 2 years ago emphasized various HKers coming together - no matter frontliner, woleifei, elderly, young, Marge Simpson... everyone's welcome on the "The Hong Kong Way" 😀
