An interesting difference in perspectives between Dick (in the 90s) and Jason currently.
RIP to the legendary George Pérez, without whom I wouldn't be the fan I am today.
This costume really is quite cool. Simple, sleek, clean lines. Has all the right design sensibilities for a Nightwing costume.
The way Dan Mora draws Robin's cape to be more bird-like is just *chef's kiss*
Now, I don't think Dick is the kind of person to be resentful of others being Robin. I think him allowing others to be Robin is an example of him prioritizing victims and helping people, which is central to him. All of the others needed Robin. And he's accepted them as family.
If I'd written the Robins book it would not have involved Batman at all. It would have dealt with the fact that every other Robin is wearing the Flying Grayson's colors and using Dick's name and taking on a mantle they don't know the history and true meaning of.
New DC/Marvel crossover idea: two characters who have complicated relationships with legacy and take to the skies:
Oh, also this one, because it's an sort of sequel to Morrison's Batman & Robin, and I'd be interested in @dallas_comics' take on it especially, knowing he loves Morrison.
Off the top of my head, I can't think of any. There are these bits from Justice League of America #2, New 52 Justice League #51, and Rebirth Titans Annual #1
