Any budding (or developed) artist will know that much of their work is practice, practice, practice. Benedetto Gennari certainly knew this in the 17th-18th century, as seen in this drawing 'Studies of hands'. Beauty and artistry is there in the most everyday of things!

This #FashionFriday is all about hats! This impressive headpiece was immortalised on canvas by Norwich School artist Joseph Clover (1779-1853). Perhaps he was more taken with the hat than the wearer, as this painting is simply titled 'Portrait of a Lady with Ostrich Plume Hat'.

Have you made an Easter Bonnet so far this weekend? Perhaps you’ve taken part in an Easter Egg hunt? The Figure in this beautiful drawing by Joseph Stannard (1797-1830), certainly looks as though they might have done both!

As far back as the late 16th century, Easter was a time when you would traditionally wear new clothes, so we thought we would help give you some ideas. This fashion plate from 1849 also has some rather fetching bonnets you might want to include in your Easter weekend fashion!

@mrskweight Hi Kate, we love this Henry Ninham drawing 'Bell Public House'. This picture is undated, but Henry lived between 1793-1874. There's some amazing historic buildings in Pottergate, but this image reminds us that many people have walked its streets during its lifetime!

Today we're remembering Justin and celebrating the work of organisations like @ProudCanaries who are working to fight hate in the stands and make football a more inclusive sport. We salute you!
