NYC in the 60s 70s 80s is defined by the Pop art movement spearheaded by figures like Warhol and Lichtenstein. A main theme of pop art was ironically portraying the consumer culture of the post-WWII USA. Marilyn Monroe, cans of soup, and jokes about money and ego in art abound.

Right now there is an open q for 1/1 artists about whether they should focus on low price 1/1s or try larger count editions and even open editions. I think big projects like this present huge opportunities and have only just begun to be explored.
Amazingly Climax had sold 755 editions last time I checked. At .096e per edition thats more than 70e. For up and coming artists thats a hit. This should be instructive to everyone in the space trying to breakthrough.
Maschera encodes the face of a woman within the architecture. Imo its her most emotional piece and the caption reads “She tries to hide her feelings with mask but forgot that her eyes speak. Who could see her mind?”
Inside Out is the first piece with curves. The caption reads "Humans create a wonderful world with more fun, creativity and different things. And Tomorrow, a fun world will begin that people will shape and this choice belongs to them. I suspect its creator is surely the artists."
But what really caught my eye was when Loulan dropped her first geometric piece Upside Down. This was a big departure from what she had been doing before. The small characters were still there, but the normal world was replaced with a mind bending geometric maze.
As far as I can tell, there havent been any other neoprecisionist artists to have achieved the same level of success as Mr Yun. But there are already other notable pieces popping up (a few below).
