Emil Hamilton
Leslie Thompkins
Maxwell Lord
Jean Loring
I see a formula here.
DC supporting characters post-millennium had more heel turns than WWE's Attitude Era.
When it comes to reporter girlfriend/wife...
Linda Park > Lois Lane
Forgotten Comics Fad:
Lasting about as long as pogs did, the big companies had a brief fascination with producing comics in B&W in the mid-90's.
One of my favorite comics near misses:
The leader of The Alliance of Evil from X-Factor was almost going to be The Owl instead of Apocalypse.
Before he became Mr. Big Shot, Mark Millar spent time on the Superman comic inspired by the cartoon show.
You're crazy if you sleep on his Superman Adventures work with artists Aluir Amancio & Mike Manley.
You can see it (it's electric!) Boogie woogie woogie woogie
Characters getting energy versions of their weapons.
Leave it to Chance
Another great series that didn't make it passed the 90's.
I know how much Jae Lee's matured as an artist, and I recognize the technique and skill he's developed over the years... but damn, this raw, untamed style from his early years is still my fave.
