I recall one of the characters carried around a regular hammer and called it the Nogginbasher or something like that. I dug the irreverent tone at the time. Also liked the continuity callback of the Skrull Cows.

No lie, this was a fun reinterpretation of the classic Lee/Kirby issues of X-Men. Artist Nick Gnazzo, who drew the second half of the series, is underrated, imo.
