SPEED LINES! They make the conversation go faster.
Even though you're just repeating stuff said on the exact same page!
Those are certainly.... names that exist.
Guess it's also easier to do a bunch of speed lines than- you know- draw the background.
Gotta admire the need to put in a bunch of unnecessary lines on the floor that mess with the perspective, but not put any on the characters bodysuits and leave it to the colorists to do that job for you.
These pages alone show that Dan Slott never understood Peter Parker as a character.
