This evening in #Arma3 we went old-school. I was "Patches", blue section medic and part-time M113 gunner. I fired about 10 rounds from my weapon and used ALL THE MEDICAL SUPPLIES.
New project. The big boi. Starting with the original slightly less big boi.
Bits for upcoming projects... which gave me an excuse to watch videos and be impressed by just how much bang the Mk 13 fitted into a small space. Couldn't find a reference for the diameter of the thing though, so somewhat eyeballed. https://t.co/fJnhFuk9PC
The last part of tonight's op. We debussed at "car", engaged a roadblock at "able" and fought through to capture enemy at the handshake icon. The location marked by the crosshairs was absolute hell. CQB man, it's hard.
Well, the modelling on this heckin chonker is pretty much complete; now I just need to apply materials and sort out the transparencies on railing and mesh items. That and figure out what drones would have been used in the late '80s (Type 43 was apparently to have had some UAVs)
Not the illustration I would have chosen for an advert for ASW guidance systems (Loral, late 80's)
The objective for this evening's Arma session was, shall we say, "a little bit spiky". One of those sessions where you need to take some time to decompress afterwards.
Listening to Retrowave, so have an A E S T H E T I C repost. #CGI #spaceship
