With some creativity, maybe the fans could even make their different Volcamons based on that and maybe even relate them to some Digimental. There was no plan to make more at the time and you can see all of this as an unplanned reference.
The next Digimon Story is planned to use the Olympos XII as its main, maybe we'll finally see a real follow-up to the Moon/Sun theme even if it isn't the Mars/Jupiter concept anymore... (Or is it ?)
The start of Fortune's story had a line about how in the past, humans with Digimon saved the Digital World many times, and now they need them again.
However, a lot of stories are in fact forgotten, and we are close to seeing that happen again as we approach ReArise's end.
The story tells of the 8 Digimon gathering at a place called "Root Grassland" (ルート草原) in the Packet Island. The Digimon were restless, when the Sistermon asked what was happening they stated they had a premonition of "My Tamer is coming here soon".
The last event in Digimon Fortune was "Beginning Premonition - Adventure Moratorium", a kind of nostalgic event before the game gets closed as they were rushing through the last events they had planned.
Of course, that image seems only to be the evaluation version and they were working on the "commercial version". By the model, it looks a lot like what we would have in Battle Terminal/S:AM, but the human model reminded me of Takuya.
However, as I explained, the following V-Pet, Accel, didn't do as much and the series mostly lived in the shadow of "Pendulum X". Digivice iC was a bit of a follow up to Digimon Accel and "Battle Terminal", that had a connection with the Digivice iC, also had unique events.
In this time between the production of the Accel era and the Savers era, Ryo Mito decided to create a new Digimon game that would become "Digimon Story" for the Nintendo DS, since this was before there was any talk about a new anime, this was more of a new project from the start
Ever since "Re:Digitize" series we started having a different standard of the amount of information about how Digimon games were developed, as the websites were getting more information than ever and interviews about the games became more common.
Maybe we would see more of that from now on, but the new version of the Figure got the wings from the original artwork, so the wings of flame weren't used there anymore. However Alphamon with the Ouryuken, but without wings, did appear sometimes.
