In more recent times there Digimon series is trying to fix some of those problems and although we are still not sure how it's going to end, there are a lot of elements that might not end as most fans would expect, so giving more context to why that happens was essential.

So the focus of this blog was to show how the many different branches of the series by the many different companies and staff (From Bandai, Shueisha, Toei, and more) understood the series, it really isn't as solid as some fans think that it's, it's much more nuanced.

Programs such as the "Digimon Pendulum" are portable devices that were integrated with that technology and allows humans from all over the world to take care of many Digimon.

@OnyxSakura Digimon originally didn't have forms, thy were just 0s and 1s without a form. After they found some photos like those of RPG monsters they used that as clothes. Humans took that and started a project to translate everything to something that makes sense to humans.

@The_DigiArtist About the looks, the lore in that book in fact explains they don't look like that. Instead they just "look" like 0s and 1s and that was translated into what Humans find more easier to understand. Generic monsters from RPG games were used as a basis for those forms.

A Digimon's body is made of 0s and 1s, normally they were only detected as complex data and symbols. In order to make them easier to understand, humans develop bodies that correspond to the Digimon.
