Yeah it is, and I'm positive that Matt Reeves and co. will explore that if/when Robin is introduced in the trilogy, the ethical aspect of Bruce allowing a teenager to fight crime alongside him will definitely be deconstructed.

All I'm saying is that a #TheBatman Arkham Asylum psychological thriller spin-off series starring Harleen Quinzel, Jonathan Crane and Hugo Strange, while showing flashbacks to Amadeus Arkham's descent into madness, practically writes itself.

From how Colin and Dylan Clark have described the Penguin series so far, it looks like it might be inspired by Penguin: Pain and Prejudice.

It's set in present time but features flashbacks of Oswald's childhood showing how he became the man he is now, and Penguin's softer side.

Two things I hope to see on Chip’s Batman:

More stories with his classic villains, and a renewed focus in Gotham.

If there's ever a teen Robin in the Reevesverse, I'm sure what it means for a boy so young to be fighting crime and how could Bruce allow him to be his partner would be explored.

The "child endangerment" debate that always surounds Robin would be the point, and be deconstructed.

Ed Brubaker's Catwoman, Gotham Central and Scott Snyder's Batman.

There's not really a reading order here, but all of these runs are phenomenal and worth your time.

This is the best way to get into Batman comics in my opinion, you cover his return to Gotham, his first encounter with Joker, the rise of the Rogues Gallery, and Robin's origin.
