As WoW began to age poorly, the MMO market entered a confused time, but the cover art remained mostly the same muted colors and Very Serious Guys. And as AAA studios upped, they started to echo a lot of movie poster poses as Pop Culture became a monolith.
A thing I like about D&D is that the evil dragons aren’t just evil, they have genuinely shitty personalities. It’s bad enough that a red dragon will destroy your farm, but he’s also going to fly back around to tell you your crops are shit.
Fire Emblem has a character who is an extremely unpleasant lady with a bow and yeah naturally I take her on every mission.
I’ve only been playing Fire Emblem: Three Houses for a few hours, but this is my impression of Dmitri, Claude and Edelgard, respectively, so far:
