@ryszardwithaz While not a fan of STRANGE ACADEMY, a mystical school was first proposed in comics back in 1995. #DoctorSTRANGE #SorcererSupreme #78 showed Doc, then-in-disguise as "Vincent Stevens",make a deal for the grounds where the then-destroyed #SanctumSanctorum stood to become a school.

As part of the whole "magic reset button" that's going to happen with #DoctorSTRANGE... Rasputin wanted power, so he probably went to the same "broker" that Doc went to, to cure his hands.
Doc's hands were cut off by his assassin.He'll be back to status quo when he returns.
