I grew up on these comics-no one blinked an eye that the team was 5 girls/3 POC because they were actual characters. Modern writers cannot write supeheroes so they obsess over the surface details(skin color/gender).

These were kinetic comics. People who ape Miller only take his shadow work(which is excellent) but they miss the power and movement of his work.
