100 Fav. Games #58!
Megadimension Neptunia VII (PS4; 2016)
While I think the Nep series is one that has always had charm, but varies GREATLY in quality, this is easily my favorite in it. The combo system is fun, and I think Uzume and C-Sha are the best characters in the series!
100 Fav. Games #63!
Samurai Warriors (PS2; 2004)
Like most Koei games, even though the earlier titles are less polished, I really like Samurai Warriors 1. Maybe it's because the series had less 'super powers' and felt more 'real' with the first. It has wonderful game feel.
100 Fav. Games #64!
Persona Q (3DS; 2014)
While I find a ton of things lacking about PQ, there's no doubt that the wonderful character interactions and deep story help boost it. Sadly, I enjoy the game better as Youtube cutscenes than an actual game, but the charm is undeniable.
100 Fav. Games #65!
Tokyo Xanadu (PS4; 2017)
Tokyo Xanadu is a super fun JRPG. I love that the MC is made in a way where he avoids a lot of potential tropes. The other party members are wonderful as well! Add in really fun combat and great twists, and it's a must play game!
100 Fav. Games #67!
Tales of Zestiria (PS4; 2015)
My least favorite modern Tales game by a mile, but still pretty high on my list! For me, Edna is this game's bread and butter. The best by far. I also give it massive respect for having the courage to have a non-straight pairing!
100 Fav. Games #68!
Spider-Man (PS4; 2018)
Spidey was always my favorite comic character. And although he has had good games before, this one was something special. It's rare for a game to scratch every itch you could have about the subject material, but this one just nails it.
Today in Persona!
November 20th.
P3: SEES head back to Port Island after their trip in Kyoto ends.
P4: Yu prays once more due to another rainy day.
P5: We catch up to the flashbacks! Ren convinces Sae, and with her help, Akechi's betrayal only ends in him killing a fake Ren.
100 Fav. Games #78!
Mario Golf: Toadstool Tour (GBC; 2003)
Toadstool Tour is a game that is fun to play as a beginner, but is also INCREDIBLY rewarding if you start using the more advanced, but intricate features. Add a Mario flair with fantastic courses, and it's fun for all!
Today in Persona!
November 7th
P3: Makoto takes Elizabeth to his school to sate her curiosity.
P4: Naoto's personal case escalates when some of her possessions are stolen from her home.
P5: Haru's kindness and care for her plants emulates the growth she's gone through already.
100 Fav. Games #90!
Adventures of the Magic Kingdom (NES; 1990)
I loved Disney as a kid. This game really captures the theme park in game form. Each ride is a mini game that plays differently. Although it's a bit hard and short, I still love this game for the atmosphere and fun!
