100 Fav. Games #30!
Katawa Shoujo (PC; 2012)
Truly one of the best visual novels ever. Not only does the game have an amazing cast of characters, all with depth, but it's so heartwarming. I really enjoy the way it approaches disabilities, too. I love every minute of this game.
100 Fav. Games #32!
Samurai Warriors 3 (Wii; 2010)
Last Warriors game, promise! My favorite Warriors, and one I think is overlooked because it was only on the Wii. I WISH it got ported elsewhere. SW3 is super fun, challenging, and hits a bit harder than other Warriors games.
100 Fav. Games #34!
Naruto: Ultimate Ninja Storm 4 (PS4; 2016)
What I think is the definitive Naruto experience. I think this game has just about everything you can ask for from the series. It's fun and feels so much like the series that I can pop it in and have a blast anytime!
100 Fav. Games #37!
Super Mario Bros. 3 (NES; 1990)
For me, Mario 3 was the first Mario games to be GREAT. And really, it's still one of the best they've ever made. With perfectly balanced difficulty, and levels that are short, but all have life, I've repeated this one SO often.
100 Fav. Games #39!
Gex 2: Enter the Gecko (PS1; 1998)
Although the references are dated and were never that funny, Gex 2 remains an extremely addicting platformer to me. The levels are fun and colorful and the perfect level of challenging. It's a game I can pop in anytime.
Today in Persona!
January 31st
P3: After promising to meet again, SEES confront Nyx. After battling an unbeatable enemy, Makoto activates the Universe arcana to seal Nyx away. With that...time skips ahead.
P5: Ryuji reveals the coach's plans, and gets the team on the same page.
100 Fav. Games #43!
Dragonball Advanced Adventure (GBA; 2006)
Maybe the best GBA game period. With a wonderful platforming beat-em-up story mode, an addicting 1v1 mode, plus a ton of bonus stuff to unlock, I can't praise it enough. It's my favorite DBZ franchise game by FAR.
100 Fav. Games #46!
If My Heart Had Wings (PC; 2013)
One of the greatest VNs ever, and absolutely worth your time. The character development, story, music...this VN will have you losing track of time as you play it. It's quite long for a VN. I can't praise/recommend it enough!
To wrap my rant up, if it wasn't obvious, the Tales of franchise changed my life in SO many ways. That's no exaggeration. I absolutely would not be the same person without those games, and the friends they helped bring me. Thank you to all of the creators of the franchise (14/15)
