A change I think was super cool in the show was Mark's interaction with his bully. In the comics this isn't even 'Todd' yet, just another bully. While I like the beat of Mark standing up for someone...I think him taking the hits and not using his strength to overpower him is key.

Speaking of proto-costumes, I always love the bit of trivia that this suit was Mark's original design back when his name was set to be 'Bulletproof'. Love that this bit made it into the show as it's such an inside baseball joke.

Always a sucker for a proto-costume, especially when it looks authentically like something someone could actually throw together.

While it definitely tips it's hand a bit more, I think the show makes really great use of this scene to both let the audience know that Nolan has some feelings about Mark's powers developing while not quite giving away what those feelings are.

I also love how casual Mark discovering his powers is, it really sets the tone apart from other cape comics early on.

Love that in the show they changed Science Dog to Seance Dog, I know it's partially due to licensing agreements but It does a great job of establishing that the adaptation won't be 1:1 while still maintaining the essence of the series.

Like I love that it's not just an update to the way he draws his characters, but you can also see his sense of composition and panel layout has improved

It is so absurdly cool that Cory went back and redid the art for the first few pages of issue #1 for the 20th anniversary, I love seeing how far he's come as an artist and how much the show has helped solidify his style.

Feels so surreal to look at this first page now.
