While I appreciate how casual this scene is in the comics, I think I actually prefer it being before Mark gets his suit in the show, I like that this marks a sort of transition point of Nolan and Mark's father/son actives shifting from normalcy to superheroics

Or was it that Nolan knew if Earth was considered safe by the Coalition they wouldn't investigate further so he allowed it to continue?

I wonder if Nolan knew Allen was from the Coalition...I have to assume so yeah?

I love how stupid this bit is because it only works with the conceit that all languages in the Invincible universe translate directly to English

It's funny seeing Allen less fully formed as he definitely solidifies more in his next appearance, im glad the show version is based more on his later look though.
