The last post was a heavily truncated version of what I posted to my blog, so will include a screencap of that here. I think it's funnier, that's up to interpretation though. https://t.co/btV3M0KIpI
It's that time of the year again! No, not Christmas. It's not any of the other regular holidays that you'd think of happening in December. Celebrating it is a bit like being in a cult. But it's not, I promise! It's the time of the year that I get older. It's my birthday, I'm 25.
Keep an eye out this Sunday for the online release of my newest short film "The Face Of Oblivion". Since I've run into issues that are still unresolved with my independent film work on YouTube, the film will be exclusive to my Vimeo instead. Surrealism will ensue.
A new short film is being worked on that will premiere at the movie night of the upcoming "Undertakers And Underselves" surrealist exhibition film night on the 23rd of this October. The exhibition is open from the 20th to the 23rd at the No Tomorrow space in Underground Atlanta.
Concept art for "The Shit They'll Air On TV", a short pitch that would've been a sketch-based animated anthology of some of the weird automatic comics I've made over the years. Another title I had for the pitch was "The Earth Died Dreaming".
It makes me very happy to say that I was able to help contribute an archival photograph of a cel from Midori: Shoujo Tsubaki for the extensive public archive of production materials that's being hosted on the @kiyubaru Underground Museum blog.

A sketch page devoted to the one comically obscure Mega Drive game I played all the time as a kid. Thanks to the internet a small fraction of millennial/gen z late-90s purgatory folk have picked up a nostalgic fondness for Dynamite Headdy.
(Work in progress)
I have several comic miniseries planned for when The God Machine is complete, one of which is an adaption of the story Lychee Light Club, drawn from descriptions of the original 1985 theater play highlighting the differences between the play and the manga.
Production is still ongoing with my personal projects. Most recently I edited a sequence for the documentary/video essay "Magic Lantern Dramas" of the original 1980s storyboards of the film Midori. Work on The God Machine and my untitled Bataillian film continues in pieces.
