Been down with the obligatory seasonal Fall flu the past week, spent some of that downtime getting back to drawing shots for The God Machine. Now's when things start getting a little weird with the movie. Also back to fine-tuning the film's screenplay for the live-action scenes.
Page excerpts from Violence City, a one-shot automatic punk comic experiment. I applied the basic theory of automatic art to the process of writing and illustrating the comic, none of it was planned. The best stylistic descriptor for it so far would be “subconscious id action”.
Spent the last several weeks gathering the final set pieces and costume elements for Kafka's Supermarket. There's also been a lot of painting involved, for what I won't exactly say yet. Had a lot of spare paint left, so I made some paintings sorta based on scenes in the film.
My weekly comic strip series, A Man Of Leisure, is now on Webtoons.
All 7 of the original pilot strips will be posted today, and new strips following are posted each Saturday and Wednesday. #LINEWEBTOON #webcomics

A handful of frames from The God Machine (formerly known as Empire Of Madness). TGM marks a return to my interest in recreating the visual style of 1950s soviet era animation, I drew these frames during the current downtime that Kafka is undergoing due to a search for resources.
