- artwork so horny discord physically prevented me from posting it
- nnnnazi salute? This is unfair of me
- POV section from a character who turns out to be an entire different character in disguise like a scooby doo villain. No for real and that twist is probably the best bit
back in 2019 I had this idea for a spread in the Micromasters zine, but back then they were still black-and-white apart from the cover, so I never pursued it. As you can imagine I was very chuffed when Modulators were revealed!

a couple of sketches of Hot Shot for the old "Transformers Heroes" pitch. By Yoshihiro Watanabe, I believe. The colour scheme was just me doing my own thing based on Armada Hot Shot
Rapidfire and Ultra Magnus, from Jack Lawrence's Lost Light series bible. This was a great little book of designs I got back at my first TFNation—shame most of the pre-existing characters had "incomplete" models, it's great seeing full neutral views of these designs
next, that one Lost Light cast print Nick Roche did, done up in some positively lurid colours, with a filter applied to cover my shoddiness
at @lesbianautica's insistence I'm putting all of these in a single tweet, including the (I think) never-before-tweeted Chad Nitro Zeus from... jeez, 2018? Concepts and words mostly by Jo, I say, ducking the blame entirely. Still mad Hauler got robbed at the Hall of Fames
@lesbianautica has once again cajoled me into doing one of these
based on Marvel US #52-53, one of the best Transformers comic stories ever which nerds have been shamefully misinterpreting to avoid writing icky girls ever since it came out
it's basically Dragon Ball Z, except half the characters are just different versions of Optimus Prime? It's silly jokes, obscure references, crazy powerups, weird repurposings, and galaxy-brained retcons, usually all at once! Mostly it's just really good fun
Sakamoto is best-known for his multi-continuity-drifting Legends tie-ins, which... basically sucked? The difference with Selects is night and day—it's a legitimately unique and entertaining story! And of course if you need em, the wiki has full annotations

finally caught up on the Generations Selects comics being released over in Japan and holy heck I did not know what I was missing, what a wild ride
here's a thread of highlights presented totally out of context, plus everything you need to know about the comics before diving in!
