a story in two parts

Made a script that allows you to create entire forests using prefab tree models! Even better, you can adjust them after creation unlike forests made directly within Minecraft! Tree models never clip through eachother and you can adjust forest density easily.

Here's a spore blossom! This one was interesting to make, at first I made what the in-game model looked like by layering the petals on top of eachother, then I went back to make new textures that kept that effect while getting rid of the messy geometry.

Day 17: Updated Diamond Ore

Although being one of the only ore shapes left unchanged, it still had a few tweaks to its shading. New or old, I was in the ore mood and thought why not. Also, from here on out most all block tweets will include renders!

Day 12: Pointed Dripstone

This one is a number of days overdue, I've been pretty busy developing the material script lately. I'm pretty satisfied with how this turned out though, and I'm confident it'll hold up in larger environments where this stuff is everywhere.

Realized I completely forgot about day 9, so that's probably something I'll do tomorrow- for now though, have some imrpoved copper PBR screenshots + a bonus material test!

Day 7: Copper ore, copper block, and cut copper!

Copper ore took a lot of tweaking to get right, and I think it still needs more tweaks, but I'm super happy with how the materials turned out on these!

Day 5: Azalea

Relatively simple model, but I wanted to add a lot of detail to make it look bush-y while still retaining its distinctive flat top.

Day 3: Large Dripleaf

I love the look and style of these dripleaf plants so much, its stem was really fun to design and I enjoyed giving the top leaf that extra bit of droop-iness. Also made a quick render with it!
