@StarTugTen You're in luck because that's EXACTLY what they're actually going for in terms of the look. It's going to be very much in the vein of films like Roger Rabbit, Space Jam, etc.
Only difference is that it'll be very stylized CG with hand drawn elements to look like "vintage 2D".
First WB knocks it out of the park with the new Looney Tunes Cartoons, then the Animaniacs trailer comes and effortlessly makes a great impression.
If the Tom and Jerry movie & Space Jam 2 win people over they'll officially be better at rebooting cartoon properties than most.
@Saiboro2 I think the fact that they've decided to go the Roger Rabbit/Space Jam route and have them essentially be cartoons in the real world pretty much shows that they aren't going to refrain from any cartoonyness or even cartoony physics.
Scoring for TOM AND JERRY has begun.
As previously stated, Christopher Lennertz (The Boys, Shaft (2019), Horrible Bosses 1&2, Netflix's Lost In Space, Smurfs: The Lost Villiage) will compose the score.

@m_kap117 Tom & Jerry is going to be in the vein of live action/animated hybrid films like Roger Rabbit, Space Jam, and Looney Tunes: Back In Action.
All the animated characters are CGI, but are stylized and have hand drawn elements implemented in to give them a "Vintage 2D" look.
