I remember an application from Framestore was looking for animators to help complete Tom and Jerry.

One of the responsibilities included "Animating both primary and secondary characters".

So, going by the art/boards, we're looking at some of the secondary animated characters.

WB/WAG's live action films could be the antithesis of what Disney does with their remakes.

Think about it.

Their upcoming films are hybrids that aren't remakes aiming for realism but rather a reimagining and an adaptation both embracing the cartoonyness of the property.

Fuck it.

It's been 68 years and not one single Tom and Jerry show or movie since 1952 has ever given Tom a black owner again on the fronts that they're clearly afraid they'll have another "Mammy Two Shoes" incident when they could easily make a CHARACTER and not a CARICATURE.

I'm LOVING what I'm seeing with the concept art, storyboards, who's involved and even the recent logo with the fantastic designs. I'm really looking forward to it!

I just realized something that I'm honestly shocked I didn't realize before.

The logo for the movie is just a more fancier and "theatrical" version of the logo with the red font and the yellow outline.

It's not just "BIG RED TEXT" like people have been saying it is.
