1467 Battle of Baia was won by Stephan the Great's Moldavian army against the Hungarian forces of Matthias Corvinus, despite a substantial numerical inferiority & the Hungarians having ~400 cannon). It was the last Hungarian attempt to conquer the Moldavian Kingdom.

1520 Martin Luther burned a copy of the papal bull Exsurge Domine which condemned & threatened him with excommunication. Luther would state:
