Dark #nebulae are inmense clouds of gas without stars that are so near to create an emission or reflection nebula. They block the light and we can not see the stars behind.

It’s an old #star loosing its external layers creating a nebula.
It is expected our #sun will create a planetary #nebula in 5000 million years aprox.
