Tatsuya Tanaka (currently doing design work for Rebuild) is credited for the telephone pole/powerlines imagery in Gridman. Might sound like a silly detail but it strengthens those nostalgic feelings they're echoing and adds to the intriguing, sometimes unsettling atmosphere.

The amount of secondary action and just the carefulness with which bodies move in that commercial is insane. Gorgeous in all regards too, it's immediately making me go check out the source material.
